Recurrent cardiac rhabdomyosarcoma with multiple metastases: A case report

Rhabdomyosarcoma, which accounts for 20% of all malignant tumors the heart, is an aggressive tumor originating in ventricular wall. These are second most common primary heart after angiosarcoma. Despite treatment options, such as surgical resection, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy, recurrence mortality high. Among these patients, survival with resection around six months to one year. In this case report, we discuss a patient who presented recurrent rhabdomyosarcoma distant metastasis intervention. A 56-year-old male underwent left atrial mass excision mitral valve replacement ten prior was admitted metastatic rhabdomyosarcoma.
